Is this intensive right for my business? What size or industry do you typically work with?
Driving Solutions Strategic Intensive is for entrepreneurs, business owners and founders of companies running up to $5mm annually. This intensive is run once a year to give you more perspective and keeping your business instinct. Business instinct is data and intuition to identify the right opportunity right now that aligns with your growth strategy. Strategic time outside of day-to-day business activities is more than valuable - it is generative to creating your business’ future.
I'm the Founder/CEO, but can I bring my business partner or a key executive with me?
Yes. Driving Solutions Strategic Intensive is the foundation for what to do and when to do it. Key decision makers - co-founders, business partners, even your executive team - working together provides opportunity to uncover and incorporate different perspectives.
We're actually growing fast, not stalled. Is this still for us?
There are pitfalls to growing fast, just like there are pitfalls to being in a growth plateau. Both are part of your business’ lifecycle and offer the opportunity for key insights into the way business is done in your organization. Business instinct is foundational to navigating fast growth and scaling as much as breaking through growth plateaus.
How is this different from other business coaching intensives or masterminds I've tried?
In the 24 years Jess has been doing this work, companies that achieve longevity and the ability to stay relevant to customers as their problems and expectations change benefit from Present Retreats. Plans, priorities, actions, technology to track and automate are all important tools. How you think, how you feel, how you find patterns isn’t something taught. Intuition is usually avoided, yet those that build their business instinct (intuition and ability to see emerging patterns) are the companies that have ongoing achievement.
What is the total time commitment for the Driving Solutions Intensive?
You will participate in six 90-minute sessions (material presented is 60-minutes with up to 30-minutes of open time with Jess to talk about what is coming up for you) across 2 weeks. There are two 90-minute facilitated Present Retreat sessions to intentionally engage with your growth strategy. Early bird registrations will unlock four additional Present Retreats facilitated monthly to recommit and stay connected to your growth strategy.
- There will be 20-40 min of work between sessions to stay connected to the material, prep for the next session, and finish exercises from each live session
- During the Driving Solutions Strategic Intensive, you have unlimited access by email and may schedule office hours with Jess.
Are the live sessions recorded if I have to miss one due to a conflict?
The sessions are recorded, so in the event of a timing conflict you may replay. Also, when you register, you will have access to the entire set of recordings for an entire year. From now through Nov 1, 2026 so you can revisit any of the content and information during the year as you continue to build business instinct and dynamically make adjustments identified in your weekly Present Retreats.
What, exactly, is a "Present Retreat" and how is it different from the framework sessions?
A Present Retreat is protected time that you commit to each week to work on your business without interruption of daily activities. This weekly commitment is a habit to build and a tool to lean in to to stay nimble and confidently navigate issues and opportunities.
How large are the groups? Will I get individual attention?
Driving Solution Strategic Intensive is limited to 12 companies, which equates to 12-24 people as it is recommended that companies will register their co-founders and business partners. Each live session will have a breakout and concentrated time on the Driving Solutions framework with 30-minutes built in for questions and dialogue. (It is set up this way as there are participants with schedules that may only have 60-minutes in their business schedule.) Also, you have unlimited access by email and the ability to setup office hours, 20-minutes, with Jess when it fits your schedule.
What happens immediately after I register for the Driving Solutions Intensive?
After registering for the Driving Solutions Strategic Intensive, you will receive a confirmation and access to your True North Dashboard. Materials will be in your dashboard a few days before the first session. You will receive an email before each session to begin thinking and feeling about prior to its start.
The dates for this Intensive don't work for me. When will the next one be offered?
This Intensive is run 1x per year. When registration is closed, you can join the waitlist and be the first to know when next year’s Driving Solutions Strategic Intensive is scheduled.
